Fifth Grade Breakfast Important School Dates   Parents and Caregivers of the WB/GG community:    Please welcome our new PTA executive team for 2012-13!   We are looking forward to a great school year for 2012-13! President:  Julie Traub Vice President: Daphne Katz 2nd Vice President: Janis Hurst Treasurer:  Katie Bauer Assistant Treasurer:  Linda Finkel Secretary:  Pam Paradies Communications Director:  Heather Phillips 2012 - 2013 PTA Committee Chair Positions The PTA is now currently looking to fill our committee chairs/co-chairs for the 2012-13 school year!  As you know our PTA supports such wonderful events and after school activities but we cannot do it without you.  Please view the 2012-13 committee slate and see if you are interested in a chair/co-chair position.  The PTA supports 34 different programs and events, all listed for your review.  Also, if you were a co-chair last year, you roll into the chair position for the coming school year.  Please check this document to see if you are listed correctly. If you are interested in any roles, please email Julie Traub at jtraubs@comcast.net. Fifth Grade Breakfast Needs Volunteers As in past years, the 5th Grade Teachers would like the last day of school to be a special farewell for the graduating 5th graders. They have requested that we put together a breakfast for all the 5th grade students to be held in the 5th grade hallway. We will need parent volunteers from each class to bring or send in breakfast foods, juices, tableware, etc. If you are interested in helping go to http://www.volunteersignup.org/JR37D to sign up or you can contact Jeanne Sullivan at sullyjeanne@gmail.com or (847)867-7291. Don’t forget to leave the details of what you are sending in or if you will be staying to help. All volunteers who will be attending should arrive by 7:30 a.m.to help set-up in the 5th grade hallway. Westbrook & Glen Grove School Car Magnets Are Here!! PTA is very excited to be offering school spirit car magnets, available now! They can be purchased for $5.00 a piece. There are 2 designs, Westbrook Pandas and Glen Grove Gators. The magnets are for sale at both WB and GG main offices, Kindergarten Registration, Pancake Breakfast, and also from PTA executive members. They are a great add on to your PTA membership for 2012-13. We’ll have them at all our events throughout the remainder of the year. We hope you’ll join us in showing school spirit around town!
